Privacy Policy

E-Wallet is a product and brand name. Despite the name, the current Android application (package com.walletteam.app) is an agent identity, account-access and support app—not a bank, digital wallet or money-transfer app.

Effective: 3 September 2026 Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the E-Wallet brand-name agent account and support platform, its public website at e-walletteam.com, related APIs, support services and Android app. The product name does not mean that the current Google Play app provides a regulated wallet or financial service. E-Wallet determines why and how personal data is processed.

2. What the current Play app is—and is not

E-Wallet is the brand name only. The current Google Play app is not a bank, banking app, digital wallet, mobile wallet, e-money service, mobile financial service (MFS) provider, payment service provider, cryptocurrency exchange or money-transfer app.

The app does not hold or custody user funds. It does not issue bank, payment or stored-value accounts or cards, and it does not let users add, store, send, receive, exchange, deposit, withdraw, invest, borrow, lend or transfer money. P2P payments or trades, commission transactions and other financial services are not available in this release.

The current release is limited to agent registration, secure account access, identity verification, profile and security management, service notifications, support requests, privacy controls and assigned account-manager contact details.

If a future Google Play release introduces any regulated or financial feature, we will update the app, store listing, Play Console declarations and this policy before distributing that feature through Google Play.

3. Information we collect

Account and contact information

Name, email address, mobile number, agent identifier, profile details, account status and authentication records.

Identity and eligibility information

KYC details and documents you choose to submit, such as a government-issued identity document, selfie or profile image, address and verification status.

Support and notification records

Support requests, attachments, messages, assigned account-manager interactions, notification preferences, delivery status and related history.

Device and technical information

App version, operating system, device model, push-notification token, IP address, login time, security events, crash diagnostics and service logs needed to protect and operate the service.

Legacy audit records

If the service holds historical transaction or audit records created outside the current Google Play release, those records cannot be created, changed or acted on through this release. They may be retained only for security, dispute, accounting or legal obligations.

4. How we use information

  • Create, authenticate, secure and administer agent accounts.
  • Review identity and KYC submissions and communicate verification decisions.
  • Manage profiles, account status, device sessions and security alerts.
  • Send account, security, support and service notifications.
  • Receive, investigate and resolve support requests.
  • Detect fraud, misuse, unauthorized access and technical problems.
  • Maintain necessary audit records and meet legal obligations.
  • Respond to privacy, correction, deletion and account-closure requests.

5. App permissions

  • Internet: connects the app to E-Wallet account and support services.
  • Notifications: delivers account, security, verification and support updates when you allow them.
  • Photos or files: accessed only when you choose a KYC, profile or support attachment. We do not scan unrelated files.

The current release does not request contacts, SMS, call logs, precise location, microphone access or device IMEI for normal operation.

6. When information is shared

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only as necessary with:

  • Hosting, database, secure-storage, email-delivery and security service providers.
  • Firebase services used for push notifications and technical diagnostics.
  • Identity-verification providers when required to review submitted documents.
  • Authorized administrators, support personnel and your assigned account manager.
  • Courts, regulators or law-enforcement authorities when legally required.

Service providers may process data only for contracted purposes and must apply appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, password hashing, session management, logging and restricted administrative access. No system can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password, protect your device and report suspicious activity promptly.

Never send passwords, OTP codes, MFS PINs or payment credentials through support messages or email.

8. Retention

We retain account, KYC, support, security and audit records only for as long as needed to provide the service, protect users, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Legacy records, if any, are retained only when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

9. Account deletion

You may request account deletion from the app's account controls or by emailing support@e-walletteam.com. We may verify your identity and resolve open support, security or legal obligations before completing the request.

After approval, data that is not legally required is deleted or anonymized. Some security, KYC or audit records may be retained where law, fraud prevention or dispute resolution requires it.

10. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, update profile information, manage notification permissions and withdraw optional consent. Contact us if an in-app control is unavailable.

11. Children

The E-Wallet agent account and support app is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, law or data practices change. Material changes will be shown in the app or on the website, and the “Last updated” date will be revised before the changes take effect.
